• Uncharted 2, Tibet and You

    The new Uncharted 2 teaser trailer closes with Drake seizing the handle of a blade that at least a few have observed is nearly identical to the dagger featured in The Shadow. While this doesn’t signal a bizarre tie-in, it does indicate that Drake, remarkably under-dressed for the climate, is marching through the Himalayas.  Yep, the dagger (a.k.a. The Phurba) is a Tibetan ritual instrument in the Himalayan shamanic tradition.  How’s that for geeking out on ya?
